Are you looking to rent our salon and host a party? We rent our salon during the day and offer two pools, a bar area, and public bathrooms for men and women. Parties are only allowed during the day until 5 p.m. Perfect for:
- Children’s parties
- Reunions
- University workshops
- Workplace gatherings and holiday parties
Maximum 100 people. You must provide your own food, drink, tables, and chairs. Ask us about availability!
When we do not have a private party, the pools are open to the public on weekends for a small fee. Call 2-487-7065 to ask if the pools are open!

Norma’s is 15 minutes away from Juan Santamaria SJO International airport, and a bus ride away from San Jose…but our little town has all the charm of the countryside. Most people who stay at Norma’s are typically:
- Retired Americans, Canadians, or Europeans coming for the winter…or longer!
- Costa Ricans who work in the city but enjoy peace and quiet
- Landowners building their Costa Rican dream home who need a place to stay for a few months
- Remote workers who need a home hub as they explore the rest of the country.
- Travelers who want to go to or return from the airport at an inconvenient hour, who spend the night at Norma’s due to its proximity to SJO
All rooms include a kitchen and bathroom. Studios must use the shared laundry washing area. One and two-bedrooms have their own washing machines. All villas have their own parking spot.

Norma’s está a 15 minutos del aeropuerto internacional Juan Santamaría SJO, y un viaje en autobús de San José… pero nuestro pequeño pueblo tiene todo el encanto del campo. La mayoría de las personas que se hospedan en Norma’s son típicamente:

- Costarricenses que trabajan en la ciudad pero disfrutan de paz y tranquilidad

Todas las habitaciones incluyen cocina y baño. Los estudios deben usar el área de lavado de ropa compartida. Los apartamentos de una y dos habitaciones tienen sus propias lavadoras. Todas las villas tienen su propio lugar de estacionamiento.

Norma’s is right on the way to Jaco, and near the Poas Volcano and Braulio Carrillo National Park. We are a fifteen-minute drive away from SJO international airport, and the Coca-Cola and Caribe bus stops in San Jose are one bus ride away.
We are centrally located in a quiet Costa Rican town. We’re a good place to get away from it all! Our neighbors have cows and grow corn, and the town square has a fruit and vegetable stand, a small market, taxis, and a very good chicken place! A delicious pizza place with Italian meats and cheeses imported is right up the road for a special treat that delivers.
